I met with Chago shortly after my wife and I spoke with our insurance agent authorizing the replacement of our roof on the house and the detached garage. Chago was very professional as he told me exactly what his crew was going to do and how long it would take to complete the job. His team arrived around 6 am and began the tearing off the old shingles. By 7pm the same day the job was completed and the mess cleaned up. There were a couple of items that needed to be fixed but they took care of them right away. Overall, I was very pleased with the final product and would highly recommend Hernandez construction for any roof. Addendum: In late March 2026 we were hit by yet another destructive hailstorm that took out our roof along with siding ( and two gutters) on the north side of the house. Though we had others knock on our door immediately after the storm door to do repairs I called Chago ( since we were pleased the first time he did our roof 3 years ago ) to get his opinion. Upon contacting him he quickly came to our house and did an inspection ( with photos of the roof damage) for our use with filing an insurance claim. The house and one outbuilding were reroofed in one day about two weeks after we authorized him to do the job. The other one (metal roof)was completed about a week later due to limited weather conditions. In between roofing work he had his siding crew come and take care of the north side of the house in one afternoon. Very impressive! Now, I can be pretty picky about stuff, but he addressed all my concerns as we went through the project except a couple little things that he wrapped up the last day. I would say he went well above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were satisfied that the finished project was what we were expecting. If you are facing similar circumstances with extensive storm damage to your house and want a really good contractor for the job then I highly recommend KD Construction. I highly recommend Hernandez KD Construction! They were so knowledgeable, responsive, communicative, and followed through on everything. After hail damage, we had an estimate within a day and the project was completed in a very timely manner. His roofing crew did our entire house, attached garage, and detached garage all in one day. His siding crew came back to replace damaged siding shortly after, and they also replaced some of the damaged gutter. The entire project went smoothly and the pricing was very reasonable.
